Welcome........
The
Southeast Leonberger Club (SLC) was founded in October 2000, and is
comprised of Leonberger owners and lovers from 7 states - Alabama, Georgia,
Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Puerto Rico.
We are affiliated with the Leonberger Club of America (LCA), and enjoy
regional status. This allows us to host shows and other events under
the sanction of the LCA. To learn more about Leonberger activities in
your state, please contact an SLC board member.
| While
conformation shows are a part of our club, our main purpose is to
enjoy our Leonbergers and have fun! Whether it is a social in Atlanta
or a swim off the coast of Florida, our Leonbergers benefit from
the socialization of each other's romping, bouncy company. And as
members of the SLC, we are able to share information unique to our
Southern locale. Whether it is dealing with the ever-present shedding
or the dilemma of where to find enough water for our dogs to swim
in, we learn from each other. |

Being
a member of the SLC gives you access to other Leonberger owners
and lovers in the Southeastern United States. As a relatively
new club, we are always looking for new ways to socialize, educate,
and enjoy life with a Leonberger. Our Events
link includes past events we are held - both regional and state.
And our Photos link has a gallery
full of fun! |
To
become an SLC member, you must be a member of the national organization
- the LCA. Click
here for a link to the LCA membership form.
I
look forward to your joining our club.
